A LITTLE HISTORY
Dave Bell was raised in Western NY State on his family farm growing beef cattle and cash crops. 1975-1976 Dave drove truck for DeGlopper Trucking hauling vegetables and nursery stock. In 1977 Bell Brothers Trucking and Harvesting was formed custom harvesting sweet corn and peas for Seneca Foods and Curtis Burns Canneries. In 1979 Bell Transport was formed and Dave and his wife Dianne ran a trucking operation with 10 semi's hauling vegetables to canners, grain products and fertilizer for farmers and suppliers.
In 1989 the trucking business was sold and Dave and Dianne accepted positions with Byron Equipment Co to open a new sales-service-parts facility in Goshen IN. Dave was Sales Manager and Dianne was Office/Parts manager. Byron sold harvesting equipment to seed corn/sweet corn producers in the Indiana and northern Michigan region. In 1994 Dave and Dianne accepted a position with Byron as Regional Sales Manager for 3 Byron facilities and South America sales and moved to Wisconsin. Travelling extensively to Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, Dave introduced Byron harvesting methods and equipment to seed corn producers.
In 2000 Dave joined FABCO Inc - Caterpillar distributor for WI and Upper Peninsula MI. As Territory Manager, he managed 6 counties in South Central WI selling new CAT equipment and used inventory to contractors, farmers, and governmental municipalities.
In 2010 Dave attended the Continental Auctioneer School in Mankato MN. He obtained his WI Auctioneer License in 2010. In July 2013 Dave became a full-time Auctioneer for Dave Bell Auctions LLC. In 2013 he also acquired his WI Real Estate Broker license to offer full-service Real Estate Sales by Auction services. Dave is now a licensed auctioneer in the State of Florida.
Dave is a member of the Wisconsin Auctioneer Association and the National Auctioneer Association. He is also a member of the Watertown Elks Lodge, the Beaverland Mustskis Waterski Show Team, and the Beaver Dam Lake Improvement Association. Dave and Dianne have two daughters - Sandra Bell Ager, Doctor of Chiropractic and owner of Ager Chiropractic in Sun Prairie WI. Teresa J. Bell is a commercial real estate broker and Partner with Kothe Real Estate Partners and lives in Monona WI. Dave and Dianne have two granddaughters - Clara and Marie.
